San Sebastian Style, West Mexico, Protoclassic, ca. 100 BC – AD 250. This spectacular warrior with the distinctive elongated physique is seated on a two-legged stool calmly holding a club in both hands, the meditative face turned slightly upwards and wearing incised barrel-armor and horned helmet. It is painted overall in shades of reddish brown, black and cream. 12-1/2"T , repaired.
