(Disney Channel, 2002-05) A collection of 27 cable-operated foam rubber puppets of Clay from “Playhouse Disney,” created by the Chiodo Brothers. Clay appeared in a series of interstitials between segments, morphing into different shapes, including a tiger, the sun and moon, a koala, an elephant, and a cow. Included are two hand-painted foam puppets with electro-mechanical rigs for head movement and facial expressions, one puppet with expression controls, three controllers without puppets, and 24 additional puppets for the rigs. Due to their complex nature, the rigs have not been tested for functionality. Measuring 3.5” x 3.5” x 3” to 17” x 24” x 6, the puppets and rigs are in fair to good production-used condition, with most in good condition with light wear and soiling, and some exhibiting substantial foam brittleness and paint loss.
