A Pair of Embroidered Napkins with Silver Rings, All Bearing Nazi Markings and the Initials of Adolph Hitler

All four items in this lot are of a style that is attributed to a complete set of silver tableware presented to Adolph Hitler on his 50th birthday by the silversmiths of Bruckmann. Reportedly, this set was kept in the Eagle's Nest, and was broken up and brought back to the States as souvenirs by the soldiers who occupied the building. 1) Two silver napkin rings, 1 3/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall, with an engraved Greek key border at top and bottom, a raised stamped Nazi eagle flanked by "A H" on the front, and the makers marks of a crescent moon and crown followed by "935", "eagle" and "BRUCKMANN" on the rear. 2) Two napkins, both white linen, 19 inches square, with a series of concentric square designs as decoration. In one corner of each is an embroidered Nazi eagle flanked by the "AH" initials. No makers marks are present.
