Two cast gal-leg bits by August Buermann
a) Style 1323, marked on the outside with the Star, about 50% plate remaining, a high roller mouth and double slobber chain. Attached to a round leather headstall.
b) Very early and scarce Style 1340. This has the "Pat'd Dec. 20 1880 stamp on the outside and "Buermann Patent" on the mouth. Mounted on a fancy mounted show bridle with the buckles marked "Vogt Sterling Mexico".
