A fine porcelain portrait plate depicting Marie Antoinette holding a rose, after the famous portrait by Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun. The plate was produced by the firm of Richard Klemm in Dresden, Germany, in the latter half of the 19th century. The central reserve features a finely detailed, hand-painted half-length portrait of Marie Antoinette in a yellow gown with a pink bow, pearls, and an elaborate feathered hat, holding a rose.
