<B>A PLAINS STONEHEAD WAR CLUB<BR><BR></B></I>c. 1880<B><BR></B></I> <BR>with long wood handle, covered in rawhide, surmounted by a biconical stone head, decorated with engraved vermillion linear design<BR><BR>Many stonehead clubs were produced for the early tourist and curio market. However, this example would have been suitable for warfare.<BR><I><BR>Length: 26 1/2 inches</B></I> <B>Condition Report:</B> Overall very good. Rawhide with usual wear and soiling. Stone head with one scratch approx. 3/4" long.
