<B>A PAIR OF CHEYENNE GIRL’S BEADED HIDE LEGGINGS</B></I><BR><BR>c. 1890<BR> <BR>sinew sewn and lane-stitched in various shades of glass seed beads, each with columns of stepped diamonds and triangles <BR><I><BR>Lengths: 10 ½ inches each<BR><BR></B></I> <B>Condition Report:</B> In overall good condition. Hide with moderate use, with moderate soiling. Each legging has an approx. 5/8” slit in top and some small holes. One legging has some small green ink/paint (?) dots near leg vent. Beadwork has some soiling, stains and losses, notably an approx. 1/2" x 1/2“ gap of white beads near bottom of one legging.
