<B>A PAIR OF CHEYENNE CHILD’S BEADED HIDE MOCCASINS</B></I><BR> <BR>c. 1910<BR> <BR>sinew sewn and lane-stitched in numerous shades of opaque and translucent beads, each decorated with a cross motif on the vamp, and floral elements encircling the foot, rawhide soles<BR><I><BR>Lengths: 7 ½ inches each<BR></B></I> <B>Condition Report:</B> In overall good condition. Hide with usual wear including moderate soiling, particularly to left moccasin vamp. Loss of hide tie on left moccasin. Loss of white beading along rim of moccasin opening; other beadwork appears intact. Each moccasin has a hole in sole near heel. Left moccasin has an. approx. ¼” slit near ball of foot. Right moccasin sole has an approx. 7/8” x 3/4" red paper sticker remnant and an approx. 7/8” x 5/8” trace of red paper sticker.
