<B>A Pair of Bronze Door Knockers<BR><BR></B></I>Unknown maker, Continental<BR>19th century<BR>Bronze<BR>Unmarked<BR>9.45 inches high x 8.50 inches wide <BR> These two elaborate door knockers are made of heavy bronze and feature two intertwined snakes forming the knocker ring. With a rosette fashioning the uppermost part of the knockers at the point of attachment, they are very attractive and date to the 19th century.
