A North Eastern Railway wooden station sign lettered on both sides in original paint “Amble And Intermediate Stations”. From Morpeth station. 33”x14”, with its original metal hanging-loops. In very good, original condition. Amble was a branch terminus station, from the East Coast main line north of Berwick, opened in 1849 and closed in 1930. An amazing survivor.
