A Morris & Co embroidered panel, printed in the Honeysuckle pattern and woven in coloured wools, printed maker's mark to the selvedge 'Morris & Co. 26 Queen Square, Bloomsbury' 150cm x 92cm
£200-300 Note: The selvedge mark of this piece was used after the foundation of Morris & Co and before the move to Oxford St in 1877. "Honeysuckle" was designed by William Morris in 1876. In the late 1870s, mainly for commercial reasons, kits were made available in three stages of production; the background only printed, the embroidery started as a guide, of the full design executed by the firm.
