A Meissen Hausmalerei globular teapot and cover with pine-cone finial, angular handle and faceted spout, painted by Mayer von Pressnitz with figures by a table within a classical landscape, above a band of stiff leaves, with typical gilt calligraphy to the borders, 5.25ins. wide, chip to cover, spout with silver mount, blue crossed swords mark, circa 1745.
