<B>A Mated Pair of 1965 Kennedy Half Dollars.</B></I> The lot includes: <B>1965--Double Struck, Second Strike Off Center with Partial Obverse Indent--MS61 Uncertified,</B></I> and a <B>1965--Broadstruck, Partial Reverse Brockage--MS62 Uncertified.</B></I> The first piece received a normal initial strike, but failed to properly eject from the dies. It was struck a second time, approximately 70% off center toward 6:30. The second strike is at 6 o'clock relative to the first strike, and is uniface reverse since the obverse die was blocked by a newly fed planchet, which became the second coin in this lot. This second piece is broadstruck and shows a 30% brockage from the lower obverse of the first coin.
