Double-sided posters from this era are exceptionally scarce; only a few were ever made, and these were usually reserved for special engagements. This amazing poster pre-dates the Oscars but does herald the New York Film Critics award for winning Best Picture of the Year. It has a minor horizontal crease starting on the left side of the poster which runs into the center of the image. This is fairly minor and does not detract from the impact of this rare item. For those who collect Best Picture one sheets, this offering is a rare opportunity to acquire this unique poster.
