Likely Maguindanao work, the elaborately-worked junggayan hilt typically carried by a datu or noble, with elephant kakatua-form pommel and gilded mounts in alternating bands of okir engraving and filigree. Silver baca-bacas retain the substantial blade forged with a separate ganja and showing evidence of a mechanical damascus steel pattern. In its wooden scabbard with okir -engraved mounts.
