Maryland Builder Sells 13,000 Sq Ft Home To Ravens Super Bowl Hero & Moves into a Condo. Must Sell 1000’s of Possessions!

Approximately 100 of the items will be available for the online bidding.

As a young man Frank Favazza, Sr. fell in love with Emma Dalcin and they married in 1952. Shortly thereafter, and while building a family, they started their own company called Frank F. Favazza & Son, Inc. with only $5,000. Quickly, their company grew and over the years became one of Maryland’s largest builders, building everything from hotels to condominiums, shopping centers, schools, high rise homes for the elderly, and luxury hotels in St. Thomas. Specifically, Favazza and Son built many Holiday Inns throughout the Baltimore Washington corridor, as well as the dorms at Loyola College, the Grempler Real Estate office building, the Talmudical Academy, and the Bluebeards Castle on St. Thomas.

Mr. and Mrs. Favazza have traveled throughout the world to places like England, Germany, France, Copenhagen, Switzerland, East Berlin, Mexico, Venezuela, Bermuda, and throughout the United States. They accumulated 1,000’s of items while traveling the world.

Recently they sold their beautiful 13,000 square foot home to a Ravens Super Bowl hero and have downsized, moving into a 3,300 square foot condo, and wish to sell a majority of their worldly possessions. Items include framed mirrors, porcelain (figurines, clocks, bowls, vases, lamps, tea sets,) "Waterford Crystal" (bud vase, bowls, vases, ash trays), perfume bottles, "Lladro" figurines (golfer, birds, lady, dog), "Lalique" (perfume bottles, ashtrays, lighter, turtle), "Canali" (Bird in Flight, Dolphins), "Silverplate Goblets" (from the Opening of Caesar's in Las Vegas), and crystal (bowls, ashtrays, figurines, clocks, vases, liquor decanters, perfume bottles, Etc.).

Mr. and Mrs. Favazza also bred, raised, and raced thoroughbred horses on Triple F. Farms on Tufton Road. The couple love horses and were big fans of the Preakness. There are many statues, paintings, and prints of famous horses that will also be in the sale. Mr. and Mrs. Favazza’s second hobby was golfing and Mr. Favazza served as President of Hillendale Country Club. Golf related items will also be at the auction.
