(Disneyland, 1970s-80s) A large, spectacular, and illuminating fiberoptic window display for the Main Street Electrical Parade. The Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland featured an "electrosynthomagnetic" musical soundtrack, and both floats and performers covered in more than 600,000 sparkling lights. The Main Street Electrical Parade was Disneyland's first nighttime parade, captivating millions of Guests during its original 24-year run from 1972 to 1996, and repeatedly made encore performances at Disney Parks worldwide. This sparkling fiberoptic light display features the drum title float and was constructed for installation at Disneyland. The electromechanics and fiberoptics have been tested for function and are in working order, with a few non-operational within the "D" and few other areas. The entire piece measures an incredible 45"x49" and 21" deep, within a metal housing with cooling vents, and functions in very good condition, with a few exposed fiber optics on the display side, and wear to housing case from handling and age. This piece requires special shipping arrangements. Please inquire before bidding.
