A Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway 3-aspect HANDLAMP, the body stamped “LYR. AINTREE”. The drum is also stamped “LYR”. Complete with BR(M) vessel; brass/ceramic burner, reflector, bullseye lens and all glasses, but the brass handle catch is missing. Repainted. Aintree station opened in 1849; was renamed “Aintree Sefton Arms” by BR; “Aintree” again in 1968.
