A Lacquered Tulku Hat, The hat with a wide flat brim, surmounted with a lacquered diamond-shaped crown apex resting on a layered base supported by a square lotus pedestal, each facet of the crown apex painted with a flaming ‘Triratna’ (the three-jewel medallion), the upper surfaces decorated with coral, turquoise, red and yellow beads, the underside of the brim lacquered and painted the Eight Buddhist Symbols.
