A LNER cast-iron SEATBACK plate "HACKNEY DOWNS". In totally ex-seat paintwork. 45" long. An ex GER station, on the Liverpool Street-Cambridge line, between London Fields and Stoke Newington. It opened as "Hackney Downs Junction" in 1872 and was renamed in 1896.
