Khmer, Angkor period, Bayon style, 13th century AD. Solid bronze hook with a pair of Garudas (eagles) at sides and a Naga (snake) at the end of the ornately designed and detailed hook. Hooks like this were used to hold the ropes while riding elephants. 7"L. Intact/choice condition.
