4 3/4" tall, 3" diameter. A. J. (Buddy) Obara, Jr (Born 1948) is active/lives in Pennsylvania, Delaware. A J Obara Jr is known for Wildlife sculpture. Anthony J. (A.J.) Obara, Jr. (1948) An animalier and wildlife sculptor, he attended art classes at the Delaware Art Museum as a child and began sculpting in 1972 at the age of 24. Self-taught in the manner of Antoine-Louis Barye, Pierre Jules Mene and Isidore Bonheur, Obara casts each bronze using the traditional cire perdue "lost wax" method and is particularly well-known for his patinas.
