Casson "The Blue Heron" image is showing the bird rising above the Baptiste Lake in Haliburton County in the beautiful wild woods in Ontario, Canada; with its paper information provided as provenance from the Scythe & Company in Toronto in Canada with an added stamp by it... it's a REAL very old A.J. Casson print with its original frame and glass (glass would be mail to you separately if you want it); this is NOT a fake copy which many copies of the Group of 7 are these days, unfortunately; this last of the popular Group of 7 artist is now deceased; this contemporary art group made its mark on the Canadian and international art reviews in order to stress painting with their brushes the "plein air" way the Canadien / Canadian scenes, yes indeed engaging themselves 'outdoors on the spot and even in the wild forests, lakes and rivers' - also noted on this: A. J. Casson, N.A., was past president of R.C.A. (Royal Canadian Artists)!
