A Hull & Barnsley & West Riding Junction Railway 12" dial roundhead fusee movement mahogany wall clock. The original face is lettered "H.B. & W.R. Jn. Ry. 3. Barnby & Rust Hull". The rear of the dial is lettered "May/88" (year of opening) and "22/3/89". In full working order complete with pendulum and key. A rare clock in superb original condition, from Wrangbrook Junction Signal Box, at the junction for the lines to Moorhouse & South Elmsall signal box (originally to Wath), and to Lowfield Junction (between Doncaster and Sheffield). It was a Saxby & Farmer Type 12a box opened as "Wrangbrook North" on 31st August 1894. It was renamed "Wrangbrook Junction" in 1934 and closed on 13th May 1968.
