A HEADBOARD "EAST ESSEX ENTERPRISE". A curved, cast aluminium 2-line Headboard in original condition with the names of other named trains stamped into the back - Capital Limited; Torbay Express; Cornish Riviera; Fife Coast Express; Cheltenham Spa Express; Lea Valley Enterprise". 40" wide. The "East Essex Enterprise" was inaugurated in June 1960 as a new express freight train. Diesel hauled it ran every weekday from Chelmsford via Braintree, Witham, Malden, Colchester and Ipswich before heading for the Midlands and the North, eventually Edinburgh and Glasgow.
