From ancient Greece, ca. 14th century BC. The squat body with three small looped handles, one now missing, on the shoulder, small everted rim, decorated in dark brown with stylized waves; the neck and base with concentric circles. 2-3/8"H x 3-1/4"D, one handle missing plus area of sea encrustation, as shown, else excellent and quite rare! **For a similar example, see Christie's Sale 6060, Antiquities, 14 April 2011, London, South Kensington that sold for $3,270**
