From the ancient Greek colony of Gnathia (today Ignazia) in the Apulian region of of southern Italy, Ca. 300 BC. Black-glazed terracotta wine pouring vessel decorated in traditional Gnathian patterns of grapevines, delicate flowers, "S" and "V" patterns in yellow, white and red pigments.Intact. 6-3/4"H (17 cm), intact.
