A Great Central Railway early wooden-cased signal repeater in an arched cabinet. A centrally pivoted pointer to "On/Wrong/Off" engraved into a silvered dial. The face displays a trafolite plate "Up Distant No. 18". The case top is stamped "GCR". 6 1/4" tall. In original condition; a crack to the right edge of the case does not really detract. Not seen before.
