A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded chest of drawers, the well figured top with applied moulded edge in turn above a crossbanded collar with further mould below and having two short and three long graduated drawers with brass drop handles, cockbeading and mahogany banding to each drawer front and flanked on either side by fluted quarter column corners with moulding beneath and standing on bracket feet. Height 37ins., width 44ins., depth 21ins. (see illustration)
