A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, circa 1790, the square hood with blind fretwork frieze enclosing an 11inch brass dial, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, Roman numerals, eight day movement, inscribed In Chaffey, Sherbourne, the trunk with shell inlaid door, on a concave plinth base and bracket feet, height 196cm, 77 inches.
