A George III oak and mahogany banded longcase clock having a swans neck pediment with embossed bird and snake terminals with boxwood stringing beneath in turn above the 12.5ins. arched painted dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary date and second dial with eight day striking movement by D. King, Montrose and with foliate spandrels and religious scene to the arch flanked by simple pillars in turn above the arched door being boxwood and ebony strung and mahogany crossbanded flanked by fluted quarter column corners and with conforming base raised on bracket feet. Height 83ins.
