A George III mahogany Chippendale style armchair having an arched top rail set on moulded stiles with pierced splat back with foliate carving to each arch having scroll carved arms with carved supports with drop in seat upholstered in velvet type material embossed with a vase of flowers with moulded front rail standing on moulded legs with chamfered inside edges (see illustration).
