A George III carved oak longcase clock, the carved hood with four cone finials centering a carved winged figure and frieze inscribed "Henry Bentine and Eliz" above a 12 inch brass dial, acanthus chased, subsidiary seconds and date aperture before a silvered chapter ring and cast spandrels, by John Steel, Killamarsh, eight day movement, above a carved case inscribed 9 June 1704 with armorial on a carved plinth and short feet, approximate height 270cm, 106 inches.
