A General, Apotheoses as Hercules centre w/ general wearing a crested helmet, right hand resting on a shield w/ polychrome painted face, a lion skin over his left arm, sheathed sword, in the dress of a Roman soldier, at his left Athena is seated on a cannon, also wearing a crested helmet, her right arm around the general, her left holding a lance, in the background winged Fama (Fame) blows a tuba, left hand holding a laurel wreath; before the general Envy, clad in a yellow hip-cloth, tumbles backwards towards the viewer, a serpent wound around his left, biting into his heart, held in the right, a shield next to him; porcelain, polychrome painted, open-work plinth, rocailles heightened w/ gilt and purple, encrusted w/ polychrome petals, silver cannon balls, gold trumpet and cannon, drums, arrows, flags, and fasces, height: 35 cm, 1 wing, end of the tuba, flagpole, 1 finger broken off, laurel wreath restored, Vienna, Imperial Manufactory, underglaze-blue Austrian shield ca. 1760, (Ru).
