A GWR early station lamp tablet “PEMBRIDGE”. This is the style with an opal glass plate behind a stencil metal frame, which preceded the enamel design. Wedge shape , 12”x2¾”. In fine, original condition and very rare. Pembridge station, on the Radnor Branch from Leominster, opened in 1856 and closed in 1955.
