A GWR cast-iron CABSIDE NUMBERPLATE “9766”. As carried by the ‘8750 class’ 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in October 1935 under Lot 293. A Duffryn Yard engine until 1964 she then moved to Neath until withdrawal in July 1964. She was cut up by the Steel Supply Co. (Western) Ltd at Briton Ferry. The plate is unrestored.
