A GWR cast-iron CABSIDE NUMBERPLATE "5666". As carried by the '5600 Class' 0-6-2T built at Swindon in June 1926 under Lot 235 at a cost of £3,853. During her life she had 86 shed changes but always to Cathays, Coke Ovens Pontypridd (closed 1933), Barry, Cae Harris Dowlais, Merthyr, Rhymney and finally Lydney. She was withdrawn on 15th July 1963 and cut up by John Cashmore Ltd, Town Quay, Newport, Mon. Face-repainted only, rather well done.
