A (GWR) brass CABSIDE NUMBERLATE "7028". As carried by the (GWR) 'Castle' class 4-6-0 "CADBURY CASTLE" built at Swindon by 19th May 1950 at a cost of £10,546 plus another £1,094 for the Hawksworth tender. A Landore engine for most of her life, she moved to Llanelly on 31st October 1961, fitted with a double chimney, and was withdrawn on 28th December 1963 after running 624,626 miles in service. She was cut up by Barlborough Metals Ltd, Briton Ferry, Swansea on 19th March 1964. The plate is face-restored only. (See Lot 321).
