The sloping front has a circular trafolite description plate, on a green background, with 16 facets variously impressed in black “Holyhead Passenger Train”; “GWR Passenger Train”; “Mold Passenger Train”; “Birkenhead Passenger Train”; “LNW Goods”; “GW Goods”; “From Birkenhead Through Junction North of No.4” etc. The polished wood case with its hipped roof (overall 14” tall) is in delightful condition, has a plastic strip “Up B. Head”, and is complete with its locking key.
