After a design by Thomas Chippendale, circa 1765 The serpentine gilt-tooled red leather-lined top with molded edge, above a frieze drawer and kneehole, flanked by four graduated drawers to each pedestal, framed by cluster pilasters with acanthus capitals, reversing to sham drawers, each side fitted with leather -lined slide above ribbon-tied oak and acorn garlands centered by a lion mask, on an ebonized plinth with molded upper edge 30 X 61 X 293/4 IN. (76 X 155 X 75.5 CM)
