Kosoff, A., and Abner Kreisberg [Numismatic Gallery]. SPECIAL PRICED EDITION. AUCTION CATALOGUE NO. 72. OFFERING A MOST IMPORTANT COLLECTION OF UNITED STATES PAPER CURRENCY AND FEATURING THE B.A. TALMADGE COLLECTION OF U.S. QUARTER EAGLES AS WELL AS OTHER RARE COINS. (Beverly Hills), Oct. 20, 1951. 8vo, later brown quarter morocco with brown cloth sides; spine with five raised bands, ruled and lettered in gilt; original printed card covers bound in. 64 pages; 1493 lots; a few text illustrations; prices realized printed by each lot. Fine. A exceptionally well-bound copy of the Special Priced Edition. The leather used is of unusually high quality, and seems a bit extravagant for such an inexpensive item (the binding surely cost multiples of our estimate). The paper money was from the collection of F.C.C. Boyd. Adams B overall: "Over 1000 lots of paper money, many RR. 1834 no motto $2.50."
