His design and production ranted from small, utilitarian designs for the home (i.e., ashtrays), to grand-scale architectural elements. Many of Manhattan's landmarks contain elements of Oscar Bach's work, notably among them, the lobby of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Rockefeller Center, and the New York City Department of Health. Other architectural pieces by Bach adorn prominent buildings through out the United States, including those at Yale University, the Toledo Museum of Art, and the Procurement Division of the Treasury Department, Washington, D.
