lot of 13. Three are from the Banking House of L.H. Hershfield & Bro. with dates of 1866, 1873, and 1876, with illustrations of "mountain man"/miner, two earliest include his dog; latest one shows the man only. Remaining 10 all from the First National Bank of Helena. Five have engraved revenue seals (2 cents), spaces for a stamp, and small national eagles; dated 1871, 1872, 1873, 1875, 1879. Three Certificates of deposit have a Springer (or related) spaniel on a crate on the left; dated 1874 (1) and 1881 (2). Last two have scene of state landmarks and highlights: mountains, glacier, geyser, cattle grazing in a valley, mine buildings(?) and more; dated 1888 and 1895.
