<B>A Fascinating Spinner Letter.</B></I> This Spinner letter written on Treasury of the United States letterhead is mounted to a scrapbook page with parts of four other letters on the side. It is dated December 10, 1864 to a Mr. Wallace Davis of Washington D.C. It is worth quoting in its entirety, "Sir: Your favor of the 8th instant is received.
