Late Qing Dynasty, Guangxu Period (1875–1908) Diameter: approx. 11.5 cm This is a finely crafted famille rose dish from the Guangxu period of the Qing dynasty (1875–1908), featuring a rare lobed floral form with a scalloped rim. The interior is decorated with light lavender-pink enamel, accentuated by delicate green floral sprigs, creating an elegant and refined aesthetic. A border of scrolling turquoise motifs surrounds the edge, adding visual depth and sophistication. The base is left unglazed, with natural patina and firing marks. A red four-character reign mark “Guangxu Nianzhi” (Made in the Guangxu Period) is inscribed in seal script, typical of late Qing folk kilns. This dish exemplifies the charming craftsmanship and pastel palette associated with Guangxu porcelain. Such small floral dishes were commonly used as dresser wares or scholar's table articles, prized for both their function and artistic value. Today, they are sought after by collectors worldwide, especially in European and North American markets.
