The necklace, composed of six black enameled panels with polychrome enamel floral and foliate motifs, each containing an oval Geneva enamel plaque representing traditional costumes, suspending a panel with a painted landscape of Geneva and three similarly enameled drops, the reverse with light green and pink enamel ground and polychrome floral decorations; and a pair of earpendants of similar design, with detachable drops, mounted in gold, ca. 1845, in a modern red leather fitted case, necklace length 42.0 cm
