A Derby teapot and cover, circa 1785, of globular slightly ovoid form, enamelled to either side with an oval landscape depicting figures before a river valley landscape and building beyond, by Zachariah Boreman, within a blue oval gilt leafy border, gilt banded oval entwined border to shoulder, gilt lined loop handle and domed dentil gilt cover with gilt ring finial, on a gilt lined footrim, puce crown cross batons mark and gilders mark in puce, slight restoration above footrim, height 18cm, 7 inches.
