A Derby slop bowl, circa 1785, enamelled with a circular vignette of a mountainous river landscape and figures before a distant building, within a blue and gilt leafy border below a gilt ovolo twin banded and entwined dentil gilt rim, puce crown cross batons mark, number 86 and gilders numeral 2, crack to base, diameter, 15cm, 6 inches.
