A DIVISION ONE PICTORIAL JAPANESE BUTTON
A gorgeous Lg-Med. 19th C. gold dotted figural Satsuma example. This is a beautifully executed 19th century example of hand painting on Japanese Satsuma pottery. The button depicts a other in a Kimono sitting on a bench in the garden with her daughter standing in front in a Kimono and a butterfly flying above. Nice example. It measures 1 1/4" but goes through the NBS measure so its a medium size.
