A County Donegal Railways Joint Committee original gold leaf coat of arms transfer mounted on board. This is the early gold leaf type (the later designs used gold colour printing). The longest narrow gauge line in the British Isles, it was jointly owned by the Midland Railway of England and the Great Northern Railway of Ireland. The transfer dates from 1906 and depicts the arms of the Lords of Tyrconnel. 13 1/4" square. Mint.
